Our mission is to supply the quality of firewood you desire for a price that matches the quality. We realise every customer is unique and has different needs. The common feature all customers seem to look for is customer service which we rank very highly, right up there next to quality.

What sets us apart from the rest.

When you buy from dry logs ltd you will be certain of the quality of logs you have ordered, we will offer a date that suits you but also fits in with our flexible delivery routes to help us keep costs down, you will also be able to view through our website a time your delivery will be with you on your agreed delivery date. We also offer discounts for prepayment and online ordering as this helps us with our cash flow and saves our drivers time on deliveries.

Twelve months a year.

We cut logs five, sometimes six days a week, every week of the year, we also deliver logs to our customers every week of the year without exception. All logs that are cut and not delivered during the spring and summer months and packed in to ventilated bulk bags and stored in our yard to dry out. The logs cut early in the year will have all summer to dry and are sold during the Autumn and winter as premium grade firewood logs with a moisture content of below 20%, comparable to kiln dried but only natural energy used, wind and sun, no additional fuels.

Different grades all cut and packed in to Bulk bags approximately one cubic metre from British hard wood Beech and Ash.

Premium logs are available from late June / July until they run out normally October / November. They will be delivered to you in a dry state what ever the weather as they are transported with covers to keep them dry. We offer a unique option to pre order this premium product to guarantee you excellent quality logs for the whole winter, we can store it for you and deliver at your request, if you prepay in full when ordering you will be marked on our system as a VIP customer giving you priority delivery.

Standard plus logs are from logs cut later in the year that have not quite reached the grade to make premium, we offer these at a price betwen standard and premium. Standard plus logs are dry stored and covered during delivery so will reach you in a dry state what ever the weather.

Standard logs are available all year. They are cut from wood that has been felled and left to dry naturally for one year to eighteen months (seasoning) before being cut up in to logs. Moisture content through the bulk bag can vary as the lengths of wood dry from the outside in so the middle of the wood will contain more moisture than the ends. The moisture will vary from 25-35%, but will soon reduce down and even out. Standard logs are at the moment subject to weather conditions. We make every effort to keep them as dry as possible during the cutting process and are covered after cutting and during transit in bad weather.

Just Felled Available all year but recommended to purchase April to July to store and dry yourself. This wood is felled and put through a machine to strip the bark of to speed up the drying process, these are the cheapest logs we sell.
